If you haven't discovered Mythbusters on the Discovery Channel, you're missing out! It's lots of fun seeing what urban legends might be true and what just can't have happened that way.

One of the most amazing things is how they test the myths. They get old airplanes to test myths that happen in flight, for example.

One of the best episodes was when they talked about where they find their supplies for the show. My husband immediately wanted the book, Pocket Ref, that they use quite regularly. I picked up a copy for him for his birthday not long after that episode. The bookstore only had one copy, so I was pretty lucky to get it. Some really great information in that book.

Of course, being on the Discovery Channel means that episodes  get rerun quite regularly, so if you don't catch a new episode at it's first airing you're likely to see it again later.

The hosts, Adam Savage and Jaime Hyneman, are great. They have a lot of fun competing with each other even as they work together. They do a wonderful job of testing myths and explaining what they're doing. All in all, this show is lots of fun.
