What can I say about Think Geek? It's a great store for anyone who appreciates science, one of those stores I can get into a lot of trouble shopping in.
What's so great about it? Let's start with the gadgets. You can get lasers, of course, but that's old hat. How about a binary clock? A USB lava lamp? Maybe you'd prefer a LED light bulb. But if you really need to stick with science fiction, how about really, really good Star Wars lightsabers? An AT-AT? Sorry, it's a scale model, not the real thing (we can hope, can't we?). Perhaps you'd prefer a plush Cthulhu. OK, OK, so I could probably link to the entire store as an example! There is too much really great stuff there. When I go there, it's not "what will I buy?" it's "what won't I buy?" and that is pure torture sometimes. I normally don't feel that way outside of a bookstore. Just head on over there and have some fun, OK? |
